Finney County Fair - Attractions - Special EventsFirst Fair Baby Contest Russell Child Development Center is sponsoring a baby contest during the 2008 Finney County Fair. The first baby born after 12:01 a.m. on July 30, 2008 will receive a basket of baby gifts. The baby has to be born at St. Catherine Hospital, but the family does not have to reside in Finney County. The basket will be on display at different locations in the weeks before the fair. Hamburger Feed Everyone is invited to join Western State Bank and the Finney County Fair Association for a free Hamburger Feed on Thursday, July 31 at 6:00 p.m. Pick up your free meal and wander into the Grandstand to enjoy free entertainment. (Registration begins at 6:00 p.m.) Kids Ranch Rodeo - Hey Kids (ages 7-18), you are invited to attend this event made especially for you. This rodeo is done with wooden cows that give real milk and wooden horses that you can not get bucked off. You will learn how to milk, rope, tie a goat and more. You need to bring yourself and a smile and be ready for fun. There are also events for parents and grandparents to be involved with you, so bring them along too! Friday, August 1, 2008 8:00 p.m.AMATEUR ATV RODEO and GARDEN CITY COOP The Four Wheeler Rodeo is a competition to show how well the participant can control the Four Wheeler ATV.
